Are you interested in participating in this year’s Strabane Fair Day parade on the 28th June 08?
Saturday 28th June 2008 @ 00:00AMThere are opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved in the carnival atmosphere and learn skills in the carnival arts. Workshops in props making, music and dance will be held during the months of May and June to help in the preparation toward this event.

Final Showcase in Alley Theatre and Balor Theatre
Four week theatre workshops run in partnership with Balor Theatre exploring music, drama and dance. Young people (11 – 18yrs) will work with theatre professionals, to encourage personal development and artistic expression.
This is a cross border project training which will alternate between the Alley Theatre, Strabane and Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, Co Donegal with final performance in both theatres. Transport between venues will be arranged as part of the project. Limited places available – although no previous performance experience is necessary auditions maybe required to allocate places.
Duration of this project is subject to funding.
