The Alley Theatre has launched a packed programme of concerts, exhibitions, festivals and drama for the Winter/Spring 2018 Season.

The programme features over 70 events including the Blame Game Star and comedian Colin Murphy, Queen sensation Flash Harry, Give My Head Peace Gang, laughter with Conal Gallen new production ‘Suckin Diesel’, comedy drama with ‘Dumped Divorcee Rides Again’ and ‘Maggies Feg Run’.

Music lovers will enjoy a range of gigs between January and April including the fabulous Hot House Flowers who will be back with their acoustic show. Renowned Irish Guitarist Declan Sinnott who will be joined by the fabulous Vicky Keating in March. Celebrating their 40th Anniversary Tour ‘The Fureys’ will be performing all their classic songs in April, Country fans will welcome back Isla Grant in a concert with all her hits, Barry Kirwan and Dominic Kirwan and The Stars of Keltic TV. Classical and Brass Band music also plays a big part in this seasons programme as February welcomes ‘Musical Mozart by Candlelight just in time for Valentine’s day, with beautiful settings and costumes, the European Baroque Ensemble and world class opera singers will transport you back to the sumptuous past. Bollington and Strabane Concert Brass will be coming together for a one off concert in March and in April we are delighted to be welcoming Strabane Chamber Choir.

The Spring Programme welcomes back a range of festivals including St Patricks Day festivities, The Strabane Drama Festival and the North West Music Festival. The Strabane Drama Festival returns from 16th – 24th March with nine nights of superb drama. Get your tickets for individual nights before Christmas and get one free!

Alley Theatre Venue Manager Jacqueline Doherty commented ‘The Spring Programme has a range of events to suit all ages from family entertainment with ‘Little Red Riding hood and the Silly Billy Wolf’, a wide range of music, drama and comedy events. We are delighted to be hosting the Mayors Vintage Tea Dance in January and for all you Brides to be out there you do not want to miss our Bridal weekend in January. Over two days there will be a vintage bridal show with afternoon tea and the North West Brides Bridal Fair which will include a spectacular catwalk show and everything you need to plan your perfect wedding day.

From January to April we will have monthly exhibitions in our gallery space and a full programme of arts workshops for adults and children to get creative. Booking is easy with our new look website allowing patrons to buy tickets online, print their tickets at home and also buy gift vouchers online. Booking is also available via our box office.
