Art Lounge – Upcycling & Mark Making with Print and Stitch With Artist Jack McGarrigle
“Express yourself while saving your old clothes and waste from the landfill! Join us to learn techniques to upcycle old clothes and make art using old fabrics and packaging. Across 2 sessions we will experiment with print, stitch and mark-making techniques.” Week 1 - DIY print-making and painting on fabric using block prints and fabric paints/inks. Can print on clothing, patch making or paper. Week 2 - Embroidery, stitch and mark-making. Learn how to decoratively stitch into the printed materials from the previous week.

Council’s Child Protection Policy
Workshops for children require the children to be 7years+ unless accompanied with an adult. Children must be escorted to and from events by a responsible Adult. Parents are required to register their child at each workshop.
